When it all falls down - A Cyclone Gabrielle Response Story

Following the events of Cyclone Gabrielle, NZFM worked with Ivan Turdeich of ITPV-Production to document the journey that was, and still is, our response to this major weather event.

IPTV-Production has produced a video of the journey, including interviews with NZFM staff, contractors and trustees of the Lake Taupo and Lake Rotoaira Forest Trusts to show how the response unfolded and document the effects of the cyclone, some of which the wider community would not otherwise see.

The video below captures the events of the last 12 months. It is sombering at times but shows what can be done with an effective team and workforce.
