Greening Taupo Day 2024

NZFM took part in Greening Taupo Day for 2024 and was grateful to be a part of such a great day! Discover Forestry and NZFM teamed up to share information about the forest industry and had a great time engaging with everyone who came to visit our stand.

Organised by Greening Taupo and Kids Greening Taupo, ‘Greening Taupo Day’ takes place on Arbor Day each year and celebrates the work that both organisations do in our community, with the long-term vision of creating natives corridors into Taupo and provide connectivity between indigenous vegetation within the wider Taupo District.

All money raised on the day went goes towards allowing Greening Taupō and Kids Greening Taupō to continue with the great work that they do providing free environmental education, native plants, events, and teacher professional development to kindergartens and schools in Taupō and Tūrangi areas. 40 schools and ECE centres have restoration plantings supported by Kids Greening Taupō.
