Te Whaiti Forest seeking certification

NZ Forest Managers is currently working towards incorporating Te Whaiti Forest into our Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®)(FSC-C007793). Forest Management certificate. Te Whaiti Forest is located near Minginui, in the Bay of Plenty region.

Third Party certification provides assurance that the forests are managed according to a set of environmental, social and economic standards. The forest will be independently inspected and evaluated according to these standards and how they are applied to forest management.
